Pipedrive route planning: the short answer
Pipedrive route planning stops at Show on Map: it displays up to 100 addresses, and its help article describes no multi stop route. Pipedrive's help article (updated 3 September 2026) says Show on Map "will show up to 100 addresses by default", needs the address field "visible as a column", and describes no stop order and no drive times. Pipedrive's own blog on territory tools points teams to third party apps for routing.
100 addresses are 5 to 17 routes of raw material. In the Lead Mapper benchmark of 3,508 planned routes, the team median route has 7.8 stops and the middle half runs 6 to 22. Turning one Show on Map screen into an ordered day per rep is the step Pipedrive leaves to you.
Lead Mapper plans the multi stop route Show on Map leaves out. It connects to Pipedrive, puts organizations and deals with their value on one map, draws territories by drive time and gives each rep an optimised day on the phone, up to 6,000 stops. $27 per user per month, no seat minimum, a 7 day trial without a sales call. Connect Pipedrive and see tomorrow's routes within 30 minutes.

Pipedrive route planning starts at Show on Map, and Show on Map stops at 100
Show on Map is the map feature Pipedrive documents for lists of organizations. These are its rules, in Pipedrive's words:
- Limit. "The Show on Map feature will show up to 100 addresses by default. If you have more than 100 addresses, first scroll to the bottom of your list to load all of your organizations before clicking Show on Map."
- Setup. "To access the Show on Map feature in the list view, the address field must be visible as a column or in the detail view of an item."
- What it places. It "will geo-locate addresses in the default organization address field and any address type, custom fields under deals, organizations, or people."
- Proximity. "To see organizations near the one you select, you can adjust the filter at the bottom of the map to see all organizations within a certain distance."
- Mobile. "Google Maps is also integrated with the Pipedrive mobile app for use on the go."
Show on Map answers where your accounts are. Lead Mapper answers who drives where on Tuesday, in what order. The article has no stop sequence, no optimisation, no drive times and no plan per rep.
100 addresses on a Pipedrive map are 5 to 17 route days nobody has planned
The benchmark gives the conversion. Team median route: 7.8 stops. Pooled median: 10. Middle half of all routes: 6 to 22 stops. Divide one Show on Map screen by those numbers and you get the planning work that sits between the map and the rep.
With 40 reps that manual step happens 40 times a week. It is also why the same accounts get visited twice and the far corner of every territory gets visited never: a cloud of pins has no order, and people sort clouds by gut. Lead Mapper does it in one pass for the whole team, and flags accounts nobody has visited in 60 days so they land in the next route.

Maptive Team for 20 reps is $10,000 a year, from a file and up to 70 stops; Lead Mapper for the same 20 reps is $6,480, live and up to 6,000 stops. A CSV is a photograph of last night.
Why a CSV route plan is out of date by mid morning
In the benchmark, 1 in 3 planned stops ends with the rep departing from the plan (team median 37.2 percent). On a ten stop day that is close to four changes: a buyer who cancels, a deal that jumps to negotiation, a new lead from the road. A plan exported to a spreadsheet at 7 am cannot absorb any of them. A plan that lives on the same map as the pipeline can, because the next route is built from the current state, and the rep navigates each stop from the phone in Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Change a deal's stage, owner or any field on the Lead Mapper map, one pin or a hundred, and it is written back to Pipedrive, so Wednesday's route is built from the deals that moved on Tuesday.
Lead Mapper also puts the money on the map. Every pin shows open, won and total deal value, so the rep walks in knowing what the account is worth. Persons and leads sit on the same map, so a new lead next to an existing customer is one more stop on a route that already goes there.
What Pipedrive route planning costs at 20, 40, 50 and 100 reps
Pipedrive's plan stays as it is. Badger Maps lists Pipedrive among its integrations and publishes Business at "$ 58 /mo Per user, billed annually" or "$69 /mo billed monthly", with "Route optimization with up to 120 stops". Lead Mapper is $27 per user per month, billed monthly, with no seat minimum, and includes routes, territories and the drive mode.
| Reps | Lead Mapper per month | Lead Mapper per year | Badger Business per month, annual billing | Difference per year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | $540 | $6,480 | $1,160 | $7,440 |
| 40 | $1,080 | $12,960 | $2,320 | $14,880 |
| 50 | $1,350 | $16,200 | $2,900 | $18,600 |
| 100 | $2,700 | $32,400 | $5,800 | $37,200 |

Start free trialHours in the car: what the route is worth
The software is the small number. In the benchmark, 30 percent of the planned field day is driving (team median 29.7 percent), at a team median of 114 drive minutes per route. Modelled on one planned route per rep per working day, 20 reps spend 190 hours a week in the car and 100 reps 950.
Model, not measurement: one planned route per rep per working day at 114 drive minutes. At 45 reps it is 428 hours a week, and 10 minutes off every route returns 37.5. At 20 reps, 16.7 hours a week is two full rep days returned every week, for $540 a month in software. That is the number to put next to any route tool price.
Tomorrow morning: territories by drive time, then the day
This works for a Pipedrive team of any size. The first territory is built in under an hour.
- Start from each rep's real start point, home or depot, not the office.
- Draw a 45 minute drive time area around it and count the open deals inside. A postal code boundary ignores the motorway and the river. A drive time area does not. Fewer than 6 and the area is too small for a day; more than 22 and it is two days (the benchmark's middle half of routes runs 6 to 22 stops).
- Put the open deals inside the area and sort by open deal value, largest first.
- Take the 7 or 8 that sit closest together as the day. That is the benchmark's team median of 7.8 stops.
The check is simple: if a rep's Tuesday has one stop 70 minutes from the rest, the territory is wrong, not the rep. Try it on your own Pipedrive deals.
Pipedrive route planning in Lead Mapper, four steps
- Connect Pipedrive. Sign in through OAuth. Organizations, deals, persons and leads arrive on the map within 30 minutes, with deal values rolled up per organization as open, won and total and custom fields with their labels. Invite your reps by email.
- Filter and colour. Filter by any field and colour pins by stage, owner, value or a custom field.
- Draw territories. Draw by hand or generate drive time areas from 1 to 60 minutes, and assign each to a rep.
- Route to the phone. Each rep gets the stops in the best order, up to 6,000 per run, with an arrival time and a lateness flag per stop. Plan several days at once, drive in drive mode with navigation per stop to Google Maps or Apple Maps, and every visit lands back in Pipedrive as an activity. Export to PDF, image, KML, JSON, CSV or GPX.

FAQ
Does Pipedrive have route planning?
Not as a multi stop optimiser. Pipedrive's Show on Map article (updated 3 September 2026) plots up to 100 addresses and shows nearby organizations by distance, but describes no stop order, optimisation or drive times. Route planning comes from an app such as Lead Mapper, which reads Pipedrive organizations and deals and optimises routes up to 6,000 stops.
How many addresses does Pipedrive Show on Map display?
Pipedrive says it "will show up to 100 addresses by default". With more than 100, Pipedrive says to scroll to the bottom of the list first so all organizations load, and the address field must be visible as a column.
What is the best route planner for Pipedrive?
For a field team, one that reads Pipedrive directly, optimises routes and runs on the phone. Lead Mapper connects by OAuth at $27 per user per month with no seat minimum. Maptive starts from a file export with routes up to 70 stops; Badger Maps Business is $58 per user per month billed annually with 120 stops.
What does a Pipedrive route planner cost for 20 reps?
Lead Mapper is $540 a month for 20 reps. Badger Maps Business is $1,160 a month on annual billing. Maptive Team is $10,000 a year. All our arithmetic from published per user prices.
Can I see Pipedrive deal values on the map?
In Lead Mapper, yes: deal values are rolled up per organization as open, won and total and shown on the pin with the organization's custom fields, so you can colour and filter the map by what each account is worth.
How many stops should a field sales route have?
In the Lead Mapper Field Sales Benchmark 2026, the team median is 7.8 stops and the middle half of routes runs 6 to 22. Lead Mapper optimises single routes up to 6,000 stops, Badger Business up to 120, Maptive up to 70.
Is there a route planning app in the Pipedrive Marketplace?
Yes. Lead Mapper is listed in the Pipedrive Marketplace (checked 8 October 2026). It connects by OAuth, reads organizations and deals and optimises routes up to 6,000 stops, with drive time territories and a drive mode on the phone.
How fast can a Pipedrive team start?
Your Pipedrive accounts and deals are on the map within 30 minutes of connecting, the 7 day trial starts without a sales call, and there is no seat minimum, so a pilot can begin with one rep at $27 a month.
Where this comes from
Pipedrive's behaviour is quoted from its help article "Show on Map feature" (last updated 3 September 2026), competitor paths, limits and prices from each vendor's own page, all read between July and 8 October 2026. Team costs are our multiplication of published per user prices. Route and drive figures: Lead Mapper Field Sales Benchmark 2026, planned routes October 2025 to September 2026.
