SPOTIO vs SalesRabbit: the review sites cannot separate them, the app stores can.

Search for SPOTIO vs SalesRabbit and the top two results are the two products writing about each other. So we went to the material neither of them controls: four rating platforms, two billing help centres and one published price list. On G2 and Capterra the two land within 0.1 of each other, which is another way of saying the buyer review sites cannot tell them apart. On the Apple App Store and Google Play, where the rep rates the tool rather than the person who bought it, they are 1.1 apart on both.

SPOTIO vs SalesRabbit: the short answer

On capability these two products overlap almost completely. Both document territory drawing, route building and a named AI module, and both name the same door to door verticals. Feature lists will not decide this, and any page claiming one of them lacks routing, territories or AI is wrong.

What differs is written down in two places. First, what each tells you before you sign: SalesRabbit publishes a price list, a free single-user tier and four add-on prices, while SPOTIO publishes no price, a minimum team size of "5+ field sales professionals" and the sentence "We don't offer a free trial, but we provide comprehensive demos" (spotio.com/pricing, read 19 July 2026). Second, the ratings. Both sit at 4.5 on G2. On Google Play, SPOTIO sits at 2.2 and SalesRabbit at 3.3.

Where this comes from

Every statement about either vendor is a quote from that vendor's own pricing page, help centre or app store listing, or a figure read from a review platform, with the source and date named in the text. Review quotes carry the month and year they were written, because several of the loudest are old. Where two sources from one vendor disagree, both are printed. We build Lead Mapper, which competes with both, and it appears in the same charts on the same evidence. The pricing method is in the field sales software price index.

Why SPOTIO vs SalesRabbit is a hard question to research

We checked the US search results for this comparison on 2 September 2026. Position one is a SPOTIO blog post about SalesRabbit alternatives, position two is a SalesRabbit page called SalesRabbit vs SPOTIO, and two further pages from the same two companies sit inside the top thirteen. Four of the highest results are one product describing the other.

How direct that fight is can be read in SalesRabbit's own help centre, which carries an article titled "Exporting Leads from SPOTIO", updated 7 July 2026: "If you are transitioning from SPOTIO 2.0 to SalesRabbit and would like to import your current list of leads..." None of that makes either product bad. It makes the top of the results a poor place to compare them, which is why everything below comes from billing documentation, pricing pages and rating platforms instead.

SPOTIO vs SalesRabbit: what each publishes before you sign

We took eight things a buyer needs to know before committing to a field sales contract and checked, for each vendor, whether the answer is published in its own material. A cell is filled where the answer exists in writing on the vendor's site or help centre. An empty cell means it is not published, not that the answer is bad.

Eight commercial questions against three vendors Matrix of eight pre-contract questions against SPOTIO, SalesRabbit and Lead Mapper. SPOTIO publishes an answer to one of eight, the seat minimum. SalesRabbit publishes five of eight. Lead Mapper publishes eight of eight. Fourteen of the twenty-four cells are filled. Own chart. SPOTIO: spotio.com/pricing read 19 July 2026 and support.spotio.com billing articles read 29 July 2026, both quoted in the text above and below. SalesRabbit: salesrabbit.com/pricing and billing help centre read 19 and 29 July 2026. Lead Mapper figures are our own, current 2 September 2026; the add-on row is filled because we sell no add-ons. An empty cell means the answer was not published in the material we read.

The gap is not about generosity, it is about where the number is set. SalesRabbit answers five of the eight in public. SPOTIO answers one, and it is the one that excludes solo operators: a minimum team size of five. Every remaining commercial term at SPOTIO is settled in a conversation, which is a legitimate way to sell software and a slow way to buy it. Its billing help defines a "User Commitment" as "the MINIMUM number of licenses you will be charged for at each billing date", and adds that "you are paying in advance for the Active licenses on the account" (support.spotio.com, read 29 July 2026). Payment runs quarterly or annually, with a footnote that "not all contract values qualify for Quarterly payment intervals". Full detail sits on our SPOTIO pricing page.

SalesRabbit pricing: Team $59, Pro $75 monthly, $49 annual

SalesRabbit's pricing page carries three tiers plus a separate roofing product, read 29 July 2026: "SalesRabbit Team ... $59 USD Per user per month", "SalesRabbit Pro ... $75 / $49 USD Per user per month", "SalesRabbit Enterprise, Contact Us for Enterprise Pricing" and "RoofLink Pro ... $120 USD Per user per month". The two Pro figures are the monthly and the annual rate, shown on the page beside "Billed Monthly / Billed Annually".

One structural point matters more than any single number. Only the entry tier can be bought without a conversation: the Team plan carries "Checkout Now", while Pro and Enterprise carry "Customize Your Demo". The self-serve route exists, and it stops one tier below where most teams are steered. Our fuller breakdown is on the SalesRabbit pricing page.

There is also a free way in, which SPOTIO does not offer: "SalesRabbit Lite - Free version available with limited functionality", for "anyone without a team." Its limits are documented by the vendor itself. Answering a reviewer in June 2025 who complained about export, SalesRabbit wrote: "SalesRabbit Lite is the free version of our platform. While it doesn't include features like data export, it still offers strong value at zero cost." A free tier you cannot export from is a trial, not a plan.

The add-ons are where the SalesRabbit price moves

Four capabilities buyers often assume are included are sold beside the plan, each priced per user per month on the pricing page read 29 July 2026: "DataGrid AI $19 / $31", "Mover Leads $13 / $20", "Digital Contracts $13 / $20" and "Weather $19 / $31", the lower figure being the annual rate. On Enterprise the same four are listed with a currency symbol and no number, alongside "Custom Integration Requests ($)".

SalesRabbit published list prices per user per month, against SPOTIO Horizontal bar chart of SalesRabbit published prices per user per month: RoofLink Pro 120 dollars, Pro monthly 75, Team 59, Pro annual 49, DataGrid AI 31, Weather 31, Mover Leads 20 and Digital Contracts 20. Lead Mapper is 27 dollars with everything included. SPOTIO publishes no price and is shown as an empty bar. Eight published prices, and one blank column All figures per user per month, from salesrabbit.com/pricing read 29 July 2026. Add-ons shown at the monthly rate. SPOTIO lists add-ons on its pricing page without prices, so no add-on bar can be drawn for it.

Own chart. All SalesRabbit figures verbatim from salesrabbit.com/pricing, read 29 July 2026 and first read 19 July 2026. A separate G2 pricing module read 20 July 2026 shows different figures for the same product, "Lite $0, Team $39, Pro $49", which we note rather than resolve; the vendor page is used here. SPOTIO: spotio.com/pricing, read 19 July 2026, which lists add-ons under "View add-ons below for additional benefits" without prices. Lead Mapper figure is our own, current 2 September 2026. The $177 line is our addition of published numbers.

The point is not that SalesRabbit is expensive. It is that the advertised number and the invoice are different questions, and only one is on the pricing page. A team on Pro monthly that wants the AI data module, mover leads, digital contracts and weather buys four per-seat line items on top of the plan. A team that wants none pays the list price and nothing else.

Two integration facts sit in the same help centre. Zapier is tier-locked: "(Available on SalesRabbit pro plan only)". And Salesforce carries a prerequisite outside SalesRabbit's control: "You will need to have one of the following editions of Salesforce in order to have the proper API access: Enterprise Edition / Unlimited Edition / Developer Edition / Performance Edition". Both Salesforce and HubSpot are documented as real two-way syncs, which is more than several competitors offer; the wider picture is in CRM mapping software.

The rating gap: SPOTIO vs SalesRabbit across four platforms

This is the finding that changed how we read the comparison. Both products are reviewed on two platforms buyers use, G2 and Capterra, and two that reps use, the App Store and Google Play. On the buyer platforms the scores are effectively identical. On the rep platforms they are not.

SPOTIO and SalesRabbit ratings on four platforms Grouped bar chart of average ratings out of five. On G2 both score 4.5. On Capterra SPOTIO scores 4.3 and SalesRabbit 4.2. On the Apple App Store SPOTIO scores 3.4 and SalesRabbit 4.5. On Google Play SPOTIO scores 2.2 and SalesRabbit 3.3. The two buyer platforms separate them by at most 0.1, the two app stores by 1.1 each. Same score where buyers review, 1.1 apart where reps review Average rating out of 5. SalesRabbit: G2 4.5 of 433, read 20 July 2026; Capterra 4.2 of 191, read 19 July 2026; App Store 4.5 of about 1,200, read 20 July 2026; Google Play 3.3 of 686, read 29 July 2026. Ratings are averages of self-selected reviewers and are not comparable across platforms; the comparison here is between the two products on the same platform.

Read the gaps rather than the scores. Between the two products the difference is 0.0 on G2 and 0.1 on Capterra. On the two app stores it is 1.1 and 1.1. If your evidence comes from the first half of that chart, these products are interchangeable. The reps see something the buyer platforms do not.

One Google Play reviewer explains the mechanism in a sentence, writing about SPOTIO in September 2025: "I'm not a fan, but I'm forced to use the app because my company uses the app." A G2 review is usually written by the person who chose the tool. An app store rating is written by the person who opens it in a driveway.

The complaints behind SPOTIO's Android score are recent and consistent: "Keeps shutting down. Costing me time and money." (September 2025) and "I have to uninstall and reinstall this app every day to get it running" (July 2026). SalesRabbit's sharpest recent Android review is different in kind, from a paying customer in July 2026: "App isn't maintained anymore as they are focusing all their efforts on Salesrabbit Plus". One is a stability complaint, the other a roadmap complaint. The positive rep view is on record too, from September 2024: "the app is great from the perspective of a sales rep." We looked at this pattern across the category in best field sales software.

What SPOTIO and SalesRabbit contracts do the same way

The differences above are real, and the similarity below is the one most buyers miss. Both companies bill against a committed minimum, both charge for a seat the moment it is created, and neither lets you leave mid-term.

SPOTIO, in its billing help read 29 July 2026: "If you have fewer licenses in use than the number of licenses in your user commitment, you would simply be charged for the number of licenses in your user commitment at the next billing", and "You are automatically billed for new licenses at time of invite." It tells customers to manage this actively: "BEFORE adding a new user to your SPOTIO account and purchasing a license for them, suspend users that do not need SPOTIO access, then add new users."

SalesRabbit, in its billing FAQ read 29 July 2026: "You're only billed for the number of active licenses on your account, or your plan's user minimum if that is greater than your active licenses", and "If you add or activate users beyond the number you started the billing cycle with, we will generate a new invoice and bill for the additional licenses." On leaving: "SalesRabbit accounts will remain active for the full contract length ... you can reach out to the SalesRabbit Support Team or Customer Account Manager Team to make sure it won't renew."

Three consequences, whichever you choose. A team that shrinks in winter keeps paying the committed number. Adding a rep mid-cycle produces an invoice, not a line on the next one. And stopping the renewal is a human process with a deadline you have to remember, at both companies. The reviews show what happens when it is missed: a SalesRabbit reviewer in 2022, "We are stuck paying for a 1-year contract"; a SPOTIO reviewer in January 2026, "They hide things in their contract and try to take money from you". Attributed single voices, consistent with the billing pages above.

Where each one fits

SPOTIO fits a team that has already decided to buy on a contract. It documents a full territory system, including selection "based on the State, ZIP Code, City, or County" and "You can also stack zip codes", plus native routing with a lasso tool, two named AI modules and a long feature surface. With five or more reps, an approved budget and a procurement process that expects a quote, none of the commercial facts above are obstacles. Two limits to plan around: territories "can only be created on the web app", and ZIP-based territories cover the US, Canada and the UK only.

SalesRabbit fits a door to door organisation that wants to start before it signs. It names its market openly, from "Roofing / Solar / Telecommunications / Contractor Services / Home Security / HVAC / Lawn Care & Landscape / Pest Control / Political & Campaign / Pool Maintenance / Real Estate / Storm Damage", and describes itself as a door to door sales app, in business "since 2013" with, in its own words, "over 85,000 sales professionals worldwide". The free Lite tier lets one person test the workflow, the Team tier can be bought online, and the published add-on prices let you model the real cost before a call.

Neither fits a team whose work is accounts rather than doors. Both are built around canvassing a neighbourhood. A rep working a list of named businesses out of a CRM is doing a different job, described in what is field sales and what is outside sales.

What to test before choosing SPOTIO or SalesRabbit

Six questions, in the order that saves the most money. Each answer only becomes visible after the signature.

  1. What is the committed seat count, and what happens in the slow season? Both bill the commitment, not the usage. Get the number in writing and model it against your worst month.
  2. Which capabilities are add-ons at my price? With SalesRabbit the four prices are published, so this is arithmetic. With SPOTIO it is a question for the call.
  3. How do I stop the renewal, and by when? Both run to the end of the term. Get the notice window and the named route in writing on day one.
  4. What happens to a rep added in week three? Both bill immediately: SPOTIO "at time of invite", SalesRabbit with a new invoice for the additional licences.
  5. Install both on the phones your reps carry. The rating gap is largest on Android. Use them for a day before deciding.
  6. Does my CRM connect, and in which direction? Check the named list, not a general assurance. The category-wide picture is in CRM mapping software.

If your reps drive between scheduled accounts rather than knock, add a seventh question about stop ordering and drive time, covered in sales routing software and sales route planner.

Where Lead Mapper fits, and where it does not

We are the third row in the charts above, so here is the position plainly. Lead Mapper is $27 per user per month with territories, routing, prospecting and the CRM connection included, no add-ons, no seat minimum, and a free trial that needs no card and no demo call. Teams that need something specific get it through the API and custom workflows.

What we are not. We are not a door to door canvassing product: we do not sell homeowner data, soft credit checks or a knocking-focused rep workflow, and for a team whose day is spent on residential streets both products on this page fit better. We do not connect to Salesforce, which SalesRabbit does with a documented two-way sync. And we do not carry hundreds of reviews yet, which is a real disadvantage against two companies that do, and the reason every claim here is sourced instead of asserted.

If your accounts live in a CRM and your reps drive between them, the trial is the fastest way to find out whether that is us. Comparable breakdowns sit on Badger Maps pricing, Route4Me pricing and Lead Mapper vs Badger Maps; sales territory mapping covers the territory side.

FAQ

What is the difference between SPOTIO and SalesRabbit?

On capability the two overlap heavily: both document territory drawing, routing and a named AI module. The written differences are commercial. SalesRabbit publishes a price list, a free single-user tier and four add-on prices. SPOTIO publishes no price, a minimum team size of five field sales professionals, and no free trial. The second difference is in the ratings: the buyer review sites score them almost identically, while the two app stores separate them by more than a full point.

Is SalesRabbit cheaper than SPOTIO?

That cannot be answered from published material, because only one of the two publishes prices. SalesRabbit lists Team at $59 per user per month, Pro at $75 monthly or $49 on annual billing, and Enterprise as "Contact Us". SPOTIO publishes no figure and sells against a contracted user commitment. Comparing them means putting the SalesRabbit list price beside a SPOTIO quote you have to request.

Does SPOTIO have a free trial?

No. Its own pricing page reads "We don't offer a free trial, but we provide comprehensive demos", and every call to action on the product pages we read asks for a demo. SalesRabbit does offer a free route in: a Lite tier described as a "Free version available with limited functionality", aimed at "anyone without a team". SalesRabbit also confirmed in its own reply to a review that the Lite tier "doesn't include features like data export".

Does SPOTIO or SalesRabbit have a seat minimum?

Both use a minimum and only one publishes it. SPOTIO states "Minimum team size: 5+ field sales professionals" on its pricing page. SalesRabbit does not publish a figure; its billing help states that you are billed for your active licences "or your plan's user minimum if that is greater", and that "the SalesRabbit Account Executive will help you determine a minimum number of user licenses". The SalesRabbit minimum exists, but it is set in the contract rather than on the website.

How do SPOTIO and SalesRabbit compare on reviews?

They are nearly tied where buyers review and clearly apart where reps review. On G2 both stand at 4.5, from 399 reviews for SPOTIO and 433 for SalesRabbit. On Capterra it is 4.3 from 78 against 4.2 from 191. On the Apple App Store it is 3.4 from 322 ratings against 4.5 from about 1,200. On Google Play it is 2.2 from 278 against 3.3 from 686. All figures were read between 19 and 29 July 2026.

What do the SalesRabbit add-ons cost?

Four are priced on the pricing page, each per user per month: DataGrid AI at $19 or $31, Mover Leads at $13 or $20, Digital Contracts at $13 or $20, and Weather at $19 or $31, with the lower figure on annual billing. On the Enterprise tier the same four appear with a currency symbol instead of a number, alongside "Custom Integration Requests ($)". SPOTIO lists add-ons on its pricing page without prices.

Which is better for door to door sales, SPOTIO or SalesRabbit?

Both are built for it and both name the same verticals. SalesRabbit describes itself as a door to door sales app and lists roofing, solar, telecommunications, home security, HVAC, pest control, real estate and storm damage among others. SPOTIO documents territory drawing "based on the State, ZIP Code, City, or County", ZIP stacking, and a lasso tool for building routes. The choice between them is rarely a capability question.
