What GeoMapper says, word for word
"HubSpot has acquired OrgChartHub and GeoMapper, and we are delighted to be joining the HubSpot team!"
"For now we are not taking on any new customers. Please look out for further updates as we begin to work with the HubSpot team."
"If you have an existing subscription with us it will continue as normal as we begin to work with the HubSpot team to establish a long term integration plan."
If you searched for GeoMapper because someone recommended it, that is why you cannot find a signup button. The product still exists and existing subscriptions continue, but new customers are not being accepted.
This is not a rumour and it is not our characterisation. It is the text on geomapper.io, and it has been there a long time. Archived copies of the site show no acquisition banner on 24 June 2025, the announcement page archived on 9 November 2025, and the banner present on 16 November 2025. We checked again on 2 August 2026 and the wording is unchanged. That is roughly nine months of being closed to new signups.
What we are not claiming
No shutdown date has been announced publicly, and we are not suggesting one. We do not know the acquisition terms, and we have not found a public statement about whether GeoMapper's features will reappear inside HubSpot. If you are an existing customer, ask GeoMapper or HubSpot directly rather than relying on any third party, including us.
What GeoMapper did
It is worth being clear about what people liked, because that is the checklist your replacement has to meet. In GeoMapper's own words it was "Geo Mapping for HubSpot" and "Built for HubSpot and HubSpot only. Use directly inside the CRM, no extra login."
The functional description on their site:
Use HubSpot filters to see customers, prospects, contacts, companies, deals, and custom objects that are important to your team. Reference nearby customers, plan business trips, drive event attendance, and run geomarketing campaigns.geomapper.io, read 2 August 2026
Their site carries around forty customer testimonials dated between March 2020 and June 2023, including "BEST MAPPING SOFTWARE ON THE MARKET" and "Easy To Use - Fair Price - Immediately Impactful". People genuinely liked it. The strength was that it lived inside HubSpot and reused HubSpot's own filters, so there was no second tool to learn.
The thing it was not built to be is a full field sales tool. Its own description is about visualising and planning trips, not optimising a day of stops, tracking mileage or assigning territories to reps.
What to look for in a replacement
If GeoMapper covered your needs, most of what you want is in the first two lines below. If you were already stretching it to run a field team, the rest matters too.
- Native HubSpot sync, both directions. Contacts, companies and deals appear as pins, and anything logged on the map goes back into HubSpot. One-way means duplicate work.
- Filtering that matches how you segment. The reason GeoMapper felt natural was that it used HubSpot's own filters. Check you can filter by lifecycle stage, owner, deal stage and custom properties.
- Route optimisation, not just pins. Plotting is easy. Ordering twenty stops by drive time is the part that saves a day.
- Territories you can draw and assign. If more than one person works the map, you need ownership boundaries.
- A real mobile app. Trip planning happens at a desk. Visits happen in a car park.
- Ability to sign up today. Given why you are reading this, worth checking before you get attached.
HubSpot mapping tools you can start today
| Tool | HubSpot sync | Published entry price | Trial without a call |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lead Mapper | Native, two-way | $27 / user / mo | Yes, no card |
| Badger Maps | Native (listed) | $58 annual, $69 monthly | Yes, Business tier |
| Map My Customers | Native, two-way | $99, three-user minimum | No, demo and pilot |
| SalesRabbit | Two-way (help centre) | $59 monthly (Team) | Yes, Team checkout |
| Leadbeam | Native (documented) | $89 monthly, $59 annual | No, demo only |
| GeoMapper | Native, HubSpot only | Not published | Closed to new customers |
Prices per user per month as published by each vendor. Badger Maps, SalesRabbit and Leadbeam checked 29 July 2026; Map My Customers checked 19 July 2026; GeoMapper checked 2 August 2026. Mapsly also publishes a HubSpot integration and has written its own GeoMapper comparison. Full detail in our field sales software comparison.
A note on the shortlist. Badger Maps, Map My Customers, SalesRabbit and Leadbeam are field sales platforms first, so they bring more than GeoMapper did and cost accordingly, and three of the five publish seat minimums or require a demo. If all you want is your HubSpot records on a map with routing on top, that is a lot of platform to buy.
What Lead Mapper does for HubSpot teams
We are the closest fit to what GeoMapper users are usually looking for: a map layer on top of the CRM you already run, at a price that does not need a procurement process.
- Native two-way HubSpot sync. Contacts, companies and deals on the map; visits and notes flow back.
- Route optimisation up to 6,000 stops, saved as reusable templates.
- Territories drawn by postcode, freehand or by drive time, then assigned to owners.
- Heatmaps and account scoring to see coverage and gaps.
- Prospecting on the same map, so reps can fill a gap in the day with businesses not yet in HubSpot.
- $27 per user per month, or $47 with the AI layer. No seat minimum, no annual contract, no add-ons.
Where we differ from GeoMapper, plainly: GeoMapper ran inside the HubSpot interface with no extra login, and Lead Mapper is a separate app that syncs with HubSpot. If never leaving the HubSpot UI was the whole appeal for you, that is a real difference and you should weigh it. What you get in exchange is routing, territories and a field-ready mobile app that GeoMapper was not built to provide.
Moving over
- Start a free trial. No card, no call.
- Connect HubSpot. We geocode your contacts and companies and put them on the map.
- Rebuild your saved views as map filters, using the same properties you filter on in HubSpot.
- Draw your territories and assign owners, if more than one person works the map.
- Plan the first route and send it to a phone. Most teams are running the same day.
Your GeoMapper subscription is unaffected by any of this. Their announcement says existing subscriptions "will continue as normal", so you can run both while you evaluate.
FAQ
Can I still sign up for GeoMapper?
Not according to GeoMapper. Their announcement page states: "For now we are not taking on any new customers." That notice has been on the site since at least 9 November 2025 and was still there on 2 August 2026.
What happened to GeoMapper?
HubSpot acquired GeoMapper and its sister product OrgChartHub. GeoMapper's site says: "HubSpot has acquired OrgChartHub and GeoMapper, and we are delighted to be joining the HubSpot team!" Archived copies place the announcement between 24 June 2025 and 16 November 2025.
Will my existing GeoMapper subscription stop?
Their announcement says it "will continue as normal" while they work with HubSpot on a long term integration plan. No end date has been published. Confirm directly with GeoMapper or HubSpot rather than relying on a third party.
Is GeoMapper coming back inside HubSpot?
Their page says they will "continue to build for you" as part of the HubSpot team and to "look out for further updates". We have not found a public statement about a specific feature or release date, so we are not going to guess at one.
What is the best GeoMapper alternative?
If you mapped HubSpot records to see coverage and plan trips, Lead Mapper is the closest fit at $27 per user per month with a free trial and no seat minimum. Map My Customers and Mapsly also publish HubSpot integrations and have both written their own GeoMapper comparisons, so they are worth a look if you want a second opinion.
How do I map my HubSpot contacts?
Connect HubSpot to a mapping tool that syncs both ways, so records appear as pins and any visit logged on the map flows back. In Lead Mapper that is a one-time connection, after which your contacts and companies are geocoded and mapped automatically.
