What is the best door to door sales app? The short answer
The best door to door sales app is the one your reps keep open at every door and your CRM can read. On 8 November 2026 we read the App Store and Google Play ratings of five door to door sales apps (the table). All five score lower on Google Play. The three with the most ratings: SalesRabbit 4.5 on the App Store and 3.1 on Google Play, SPOTIO 3.4 and 2.3, RepCard 4.9 and 3.9.
None of the five pages we read for this search compares the two stores, and none shows a knock landing as an activity on the contact in HubSpot or Salesforce. Lead Mapper runs the same field day on iPhone and Android and writes every knock to the CRM record your office works from.
Door to door sales app ratings: App Store vs Google Play
| App | App Store (US) | Google Play (US) | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| SalesRabbit | 4.5 from 1,171 ratings | 3.1 from 690 ratings | 1.4 |
| SPOTIO | 3.4 from 325 ratings | 2.3 from 282 ratings | 1.1 |
| RepCard | 4.9 from 2,539 ratings | 3.9 from 171 ratings | 1.0 |
| Knockio | 4.6 from 59 ratings | 3.4 from 16 ratings | 1.2 |
| Knockbase | 4.4 from 16 ratings | 3.8 from 16 ratings | 0.6 |
Read 8 November 2026 from Apple's lookup service and each app's Google Play page, US stores. Google says the Play rating "is weighted towards more recent ratings" (Play Console Help, read 9 October 2026). Knockio and Knockbase have 16 Play ratings each. SalesRabbit is the listing named SalesRabbit in both stores; SalesRabbit+ is a separate listing.
Recent one-star Play reviews name Android. On SPOTIO, 13 July 2026: "I'm using the latest top Android phone with Verizon unlimited access, and I have to uninstall and reinstall this app every day to get it running." On SalesRabbit, 2 September 2026: "Full of bugs especially if you run android and I only use this app because its required for my job" (Google Play, read 8 November 2026). Even RepCard, at 4.9 on the App Store, sits a full point lower on Google Play. A manager rolls out one workflow to 40 reps, not one per phone, and Lead Mapper gives every rep the same map, the same route and the same knock button on iPhone and Android.
What a door to door sales app has to do for a 40-rep team
Four jobs decide whether a door to door sales app pays for a team of 20 to 100 reps:
- The split. A zone of 12,000 doors split between 40 reps is 300 doors each. Lead Mapper draws the 40 territories by door count and writes each owner to the CRM, so two reps never work the same door in the same pass.
- The route. Each rep gets the day's doors in the shortest order, in driving mode, every stop marked done or skipped.
- The knock. No answer, not interested, appointment set. One tap at the door, logged in Lead Mapper as an activity on the contact with time, location and notes.
- The return. Every "no answer" goes back on a route. Lead Mapper puts those doors on the next day's route by itself.
Door to door sales tracking app: what the manager sees
By noon a manager with 40 reps needs three answers: which territories are half done, which reps are standing still, and which appointments are already set for the closers.
Lead Mapper shows all three on one map: every knock as a colored pin with its outcome, the share of knocked doors per territory, and each rep's position during the field day. A rep who finished their streets gets open ones from the next territory in two clicks, and every appointment is on the CRM record before the next door.
A standalone app, or an app on your CRM
Several door to door apps keep their own database. SPOTIO's Play listing says "You do not have to have a CRM as SPOTIO can operate as a standalone solution". SPOTIO's HubSpot page says "Connect SPOTIO to HubSpot via Zapier", RepCard answers "You can connect RepCard with your CRM through Zapier", and Lead Scout lists "Integrations with all the tools you already use via Zapier" (vendor sites, read 8 November 2026). SalesRabbit's Salesforce page describes the flow as "Pass lead details from SalesRabbit into Salesforce" (salesrabbit.com, read 8 November 2026). Lead Mapper starts from the other end: the doors on the map are the contacts in your CRM. It connects directly to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics and six more, and the knock, the appointment and the deal sit on one record your office already opens.
Three passes, not one: the math behind the no-answer list
SalesRabbit writes on its canvassing page: "Only 2% of cold doors result in a sale" (salesrabbit.com, read 8 November 2026). Shopify's guide to door to door sales puts the reach of one pass at "40% to 50% of prospects in an area" and says "Successful door-to-door reps canvass a neighborhood three times and talk with 90% of the residents" (Michael Keenan, Shopify Blog, 17 October 2022, citing LeadHeroes and SPOTIO). Our arithmetic: of 1,000 doors, one pass talks to 400 to 500 households, three passes to about 900. Same doors, roughly twice the conversations. The 500 to 600 doors nobody opened on day one are the doors a second pass can still reach. Lead Mapper keeps that list for you: every unanswered door lands on a later route with the time of the first knock, so the second pass goes out at a different hour of the day.
Best door to door sales app for 20 to 100 reps: seven checks
Ask every demo these, with one of your own neighborhoods:
- Does it run the same on Android and iPhone? Lead Mapper runs one field app with the same map, route and knock log on both.
- Do the doors come from my CRM? Lead Mapper reads contacts from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics and six more CRMs.
- Can I split territories by door count? Lead Mapper cuts a zone into one territory per rep with an even number of doors.
- Does the knock land on the CRM record without a Zapier step? In Lead Mapper every knock is an activity on the contact, with time, location and notes.
- Do "no answer" doors come back by themselves? Lead Mapper puts them on a later route at a different hour.
- Can I see where every rep is during the field day? Lead Mapper shows each rep's live position on the manager map next to the knocked doors.
- Can I see every territory fill up on one screen? One manager map with knocked doors, outcomes and appointments per territory.
All seven run on your own CRM in the 7-day free trial. For storm canvassing, see roofing CRM software; for door to door teams by industry, solar and pest control.
FAQ
Door to door sales app FAQ
For a team of 20 to 100 reps, Lead Mapper is the door to door sales app built on your CRM: territories split by door count, a route for every rep on iPhone or Android, and every knock written to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM.
A door to door sales tracking app records every knock with its outcome, time and location, and in Lead Mapper that record lands on the contact in your CRM and on the manager's map the moment the rep taps it.
Lead Mapper runs the same map, route and knock log on Android as on iPhone. Of the five door to door sales apps we checked on 8 November 2026, all five score lower on Google Play than on the App Store, SPOTIO 2.3 against 3.4 and SalesRabbit 3.1 against 4.5.
Lead Mapper keeps your CRM and runs the door side on it, on HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and seven more, so the knock, the appointment and the deal stay on one record.
A door to door canvassing app gives reps a map of the doors to knock and a way to log each answer, and Lead Mapper adds the territory split and the route, with every answer written back to your CRM.
