fieldaware alternatives

FieldAware alternatives: a work order runs the technician's day, your CRM should run the rep's.

FieldAware alternatives matter when your field team sells instead of repairs: FieldAware was built for the other job. FieldAware, part of GPS Insight since December 2021, is built around work orders, dispatch and invoicing, and its site prints no price, only "Get a Demo". Lead Mapper puts the accounts already in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive on one map, plans routes of 6,000+ stops and writes every visit back to the CRM as an activity. The team starts on a 7-day free trial without a card.

FieldAware alternatives: the short answer

For a field team that sells, four tools come up: Lead Mapper, Badger Maps, SPOTIO and Map My Customers. All four start from the CRM account a rep visits; FieldAware starts from the work order a technician closes. Lead Mapper connects to your own CRM and routes on the same afternoon, on a 7-day free trial without a card or a call.

The app is the second reason teams look. FieldAware Mobile has 2.65 stars from 60 ratings on Apple's App Store and 2.5 stars from 190 reviews on Google Play, both read 2 November 2026. The Lead Mapper mobile app runs each route in driving mode, stop by stop, and every stop a rep marks done goes back to the CRM.

What FieldAware is built forIts own menu reads "Work Order Management", "Scheduling & Dispatch", "Invoicing" and "Asset Management". Lead Mapper is built for the sales visit: CRM accounts on a map, routes, territories and prospecting.
What FieldAware costsNo price on fieldaware.com; every call to action is "Get a Demo". Lead Mapper is $27 per user with routing, territories, prospecting and CRM sync in the seat.
What you can try without a callFieldAware offers a demo request. Lead Mapper reads HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics and six more CRMs directly, on a 7-day free trial without a card.

Where this comes from

We build Lead Mapper: your CRM accounts on one map, routes of 6,000+ stops, territories and prospecting, every visit back in the CRM. Because we compete with every product on this page, each figure about another vendor is quoted from its own website, press release or store listing with the date we read it.

Why teams look for FieldAware alternatives

FieldAware calls its own homepage "What Is Field Service Management Software?", and the menu underneath is the technician's world: "Work Order Management", "Scheduling & Dispatch", "Route & Schedule Optimization", "Invoicing", "Asset Management", "Customer Portal". When GPS Insight, a fleet management company, announced the acquisition on 1 December 2021, it described FieldAware's customers as "mid-market and enterprise service organizations" in equipment, solar, facility management, waste, construction, HVAC, electrical and plumbing. That is software for closing a job. The rep who wins the next service contract has a different day: a list of accounts in the CRM, a route through them, and a note after each visit. Lead Mapper is built for that day: it reads the accounts from your CRM, plans the route and writes the visit back as an activity.

The second reason is the app a rep opens between visits. FieldAware Mobile, published on the App Store by Glidesys Technologies Ltd., holds 2.65 stars from 60 ratings. On Google Play it shows 2.5 stars from 190 reviews and 10K+ downloads (both read 2 November 2026). In Lead Mapper's mobile app the rep sees the next stop, starts navigation, marks the visit done or skipped, and the CRM has the visit when the rep marks it done.

The third is the price. fieldaware.com shows no price on its homepage, and its /pricing address returned a 404 when we read it on 2 November 2026; every call to action is "Get a Demo". For a VP pricing 40 seats, that is a sales cycle before a number. Lead Mapper's price is on the page, and a rep can be routing on real accounts the same afternoon the CRM is connected.

FieldAware alternatives compared for a team of 20 to 100 reps

We compared the four tools that start from the CRM account with FieldAware itself, on what each vendor publishes about itself.

Read 2 November 2026 from each vendor's own page: fieldaware.com, badgermapping.com/pricing, spotio.com/pricing and spotio.com/features/route-optimization, mapmycustomers.com/pricing. Lead Mapper is our product, with figures from our own plan.

The stop column is the ceiling a sales team meets first. At 12 visits a day over a five-day week, 40 reps make 2,400 stops. Badger Maps optimizes up to 120 of them in one route and SPOTIO up to 150, so a region above that count has to be split into more than one route. A Lead Mapper route takes 6,000+ stops, so the whole region is one pass.

What FieldAware pricing means for a team of 20 to 100 reps

With no published FieldAware price, the only figures a VP can put into a budget before a call are the ones the others print. Here they are as a year for the whole team, at list price, before any discount a vendor offers in a conversation. Lead Mapper's row needs no call to check: $27 per user, no seat minimum, and a 7-day free trial on your own accounts.

List price per user per month times reps times 12. Badger Maps Business $58 billed annually; Map My Customers $99 paid annually, 12-month commitment. Read 2 November 2026.

At 40 reps, Badger Maps Business costs $14,880 a year more than Lead Mapper and Map My Customers $34,560 more. For teams of 20 to 100 reps, Lead Mapper also builds modules around the way they sell, such as the visit form your managers want, the territory rule your CRM owner field needs or the report your VP reads on Monday, scoped and priced with your team on top of the seat.

Keep FieldAware for the technicians, move the reps

A service company does not have to choose one system for both teams. The technicians keep their work orders where they are. The reps work from the CRM in Lead Mapper, because that is where the account, the contract renewal and the pipeline already live. Here is how a VP with 40 reps moves the sales side in one week:

Day one, connect the CRM. Sign in, pick your CRM on the "Connect Your CRM" screen, and the first sync runs in the background; the map is full within 30 minutes. Every account with an address is on the map.

Day two, draw the territories. Draw each rep's area on the map and assign it. Accounts inside it get their owner, so nobody drives past a colleague's customer.

Day three, route the longest real day. Take the rep with the most visits, build the route, then cancel two stops and rebuild. Lead Mapper rebuilds that route in seconds, so the test passes on day three.

Day four and five, run it in the field. Reps drive the route in the mobile app, mark every visit, and the manager sees each one in the CRM as an activity on the account, not in a second system. Lead Mapper shows the manager every rep's visits, skips and routes in one view.
