Badger Maps reviews: the short answer

Badger Maps reviews, counted: of the 100 newest US App Store reviews with text, 18 give three stars or fewer. Six are about routes and stops, from 2021 to October 2025. Seven are about trials, charges and cancelling.

Lead Mapper reads the records in your HubSpot or Salesforce, builds each route from them on drive time and distance, and your reps work it stop by stop in driving mode on iPhone and Android. Every visit goes back into the CRM as an activity. Start the 7-day free trial, no credit card.

On Google Play, where Android reps rate the app and Google weights recent ratings, Badger Maps shows 4.0 (read 17 October 2026). A COO and a Regional Sales Manager name the same gap: no pipeline view for a team.

Badger Maps reviews on four platforms

The two buyer portals were last readable in July 2026; both blocked automated access on 17 October 2026, so their figures carry the July date. The app stores are from 17 October.

The averages hide the dates: the G2 and Capterra totals run back to 2016, and a store average counts a 2021 review the same as last week's. A buyer needs to know which complaints are still being written. In the Lead Mapper 7-day free trial your own reps rate it on their own phones, with your CRM accounts on the map, before anyone signs.

Badger Maps reviews in 2025 and 2026: the route

Route complaints are still being written: two of the three App Store reviews of 2025 and 2026 with three stars or fewer are about routes, and a G2 sales rep wrote the same in May 2026. App Store, February 2025: "Not saving stops". App Store, October 2025: "You cannot create a route and just have it all mapped out you have to do one by one. Then when it takes you to the map and go back to badger it kicks you out of the route." G2, May 2026, from a sales rep: "The routes it makes are pretty much entirely nonsensical and always require editing." G2's own summary of Badger's reviews listed "Routing Issues" 17 times and "Mapping Issues" 16 times in July 2026.

Part of the answer is in Badger's own words. When a G2 reviewer complained in 2022 about "alot of backtracking in the territory which added extra time and mileage", Badger replied: "our optimized route is the one that takes the least amount of minutes." Fastest is not the same as shortest, and a rep who pays for gas notices the difference.

In Lead Mapper the route starts from the accounts already in your CRM, optimized on drive time and distance, and the manager sets per team whether minutes or miles win. The rep works it in driving mode in the app, marks each stop done or skipped, and the route stays saved for tomorrow. Every visit goes back into the CRM as an activity, so the manager sees the day without asking.

Your accounts, your territory, your reps' verdict.

Connect HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, build tomorrow's routes from real accounts and let the reps drive them for 7 days. No credit card.

What the reviews say about trials, billing and cancelling

Seven of the 18 low App Store reviews are about trials, charges and cancelling, not about the map. November 2023: "canceled the free trial. 30 days later I'm charged $60 for their subscription." February 2024: "I was charged for 2 month after cancellation through the App Store." Others from 2021 to 2023 object to giving a card or starting a paid trial before they could try the app, or to billing they could not resolve.

Lead Mapper's trial needs no credit card. Nothing renews on day 8 because nothing was entered on day 1: the team tests for 7 days, the manager decides with the reps' feedback in hand, and only then does anyone add a payment method.

What the reviews say about the pipeline and the team

The complaints that matter most to a manager are the quiet ones. A Regional Sales Manager on Capterra, February 2025, three stars: "Lack of pipeline and lead management for multiple users". A COO on G2, July 2026: "I think a pipeline feature, even if simple would be a great add".

Lead Mapper does not ask you to move the pipeline. It reads it where it already lives: HubSpot deals with their stage, Salesforce accounts and leads, Pipedrive and Zoho records, on one map, filtered by owner. Territories you draw land in the CRM's owner field, and visits come back as activities.

Reading Badger Maps reviews as a manager with 40 reps

  • Sort by date, then read the last two years. Store averages and G2 totals mix 2016 with 2026. In the reviews we read on the four platforms, the complaints written since March 2024 are mostly about routes, the Android app and the missing pipeline. Those are the ones your reps would meet.
  • Read by job title. Two of the 2026 criticisms on G2 came from a Sales Rep (the routes) and a COO (the pipeline): the person who drives the route and the person who runs the team. That is why Lead Mapper puts the reps and the manager in the trial, not only the admin.
  • Price the team, not the seat. Badger Business lists $58 per user per month billed annually (16 October 2026), up from $49 in 2022: $13,920 a year for 20 reps, $27,840 for 40 and $69,600 for 100, before any add-on.
