Zoho CRM map view: IN data center only, a 31 mile radius, and no route

Zoho CRM map view is "currently available for users across the IN DC", its largest radius is 31 miles, and its article describes no route. We read it in full on 9 October 2026, set it against 3,508 planned field routes, and priced the alternatives for 25 and 50 reps.

Zoho CRM map view: the short answer

Zoho CRM map view runs in one data center. Zoho's help article opens with "Map View is currently available for users across the IN DC." The map is "powered by Mappls (MapMyIndia)", and "Suggestions and address search are supported only for Indian addresses." Zoho accounts in the US, EU and other data centers are not covered by that sentence.

It is a radius filter, not a route. The nearby filter reaches "a custom range up to 31 miles (50 km)", and a pin offers "Get Directions" to one place. The article describes no stop order. In the Lead Mapper Field Sales Benchmark 2026 (3,508 planned routes) the team median route is 57.9 miles with 7.8 stops.

Lead Mapper puts your Zoho accounts on a map and routes them. It reads your Zoho Leads, Contacts and Accounts, optimises routes up to 6,000 stops, draws territories by drive time and gives every rep a drive mode on the phone, and we set up the connection on the Zoho data center your account runs on. $27 per user per month, no seat minimum, a 7 day trial without a sales call. Connect Zoho and see your accounts on the map within 30 minutes.

Zoho CRM map view in Zoho's own words: one data center, one map provider

Zoho's article (CRM help, "Map View", shown as updated 5 months ago, read 9 October 2026) sets the terms in five lines:

  • Region. "Map View is currently available for users across the IN DC."
  • Map. "Built on top of the Address Field and powered by Mappls (MapMyIndia)".
  • Addresses. "Suggestions and address search are supported only for Indian addresses. Records outside India will still be plotted if they contain geo-coordinates."
  • Plans and modules. "Supported Editions: All paid editions." and "Supported Modules: Any module with at least one address field."
  • Records without coordinates. "Those without coordinates appear in the left pane, where you can update them."

Inside the IN data center this is a useful map: pins, a nearby filter, a distance column, a field on each pin card. Zoho switches it on under Setup, Customization, Modules and Fields, Preferences. Outside India, the article itself sets the limit.

What the IN DC line means for a US team

Picture the admin who reads about the new map on a Friday and tells 40 reps it is live. On Monday the reps open Zoho in Texas, Ohio and Ontario, and the article's first line applies: the map is for the IN DC. Inside it, address search covers Indian addresses, and every record without coordinates waits in the left pane for someone to fix it by hand. At 40 reps and a normal book, that is a data project before it is a map.

Check that line first: your Zoho data center is in the address of your Zoho login.

Zoho's nearby filter finds what is close; it does not order the day

Zoho's nearby filter answers "what is close to this point". Its options are "presets of 5, 10, 15, or 20 miles/km, or a custom range up to 31 miles (50 km)", with a distance column and a sort by distance. A route answers a different question: which 8 accounts, in which order, and how long the day takes.

Zoho's nearby filter measures distance from one point, up to 31 miles. It does not add up the drive between stops. That drive is the cost: 29.7 percent of the planned field day in the benchmark (team median), and every 10 minutes taken off a route return 20.8 hours a week at 25 reps (model: one route per rep per working day). A radius shortens the search. Only an ordered route shortens the drive.

What Lead Mapper reads from Zoho

Lead Mapper connects to your Zoho account through OAuth and reads Leads, Contacts and Accounts with their fields. Every address on a record becomes a pin, up to six per record, so an account with a billing and a shipping address shows both. The record owner travels with the pin, so the map can be coloured by rep. Filter by owner or any field we bring in, draw a drive time territory, and the book of 40 reps becomes one rep's day of 6 to 22 accounts.

We bring your Zoho deals onto the map for your team and set up the write-back of visits and notes to Zoho, together with the territories and the first routes, so the pilot rep drives a real route in the first week.

What a Zoho CRM map view alternative costs at 25 and 50 reps

Your Zoho plan stays as it is. Lead Mapper is $27 per user per month, billed monthly; Badger Business and Map My Customers are shown at their published annual rates.

RepsLead Mapper per monthLead Mapper per yearBadger Business per year, annual billingMap My Customers per year, annual billing
25$675$8,100$17,400$29,700
50$1,350$16,200$34,800$59,400

Our arithmetic from published per user prices: 25 x $27 x 12 = $8,100; 25 x $58 x 12 = $17,400; 25 x $99 x 12 = $29,700. Maptive prints prices up to 9 users: 9 users on Team are $4,500 a year at its yearly rate ($2,500 plus four at $500); Lead Mapper for the same 9 reps is $2,916, billed month to month.

Tomorrow morning: a 40 rep Zoho team in one hour

  • Start from each rep's home or depot. A circle around the office is the wrong centre for a rep who starts 20 miles away.
  • Draw a 45 minute drive time area around that start and count the Zoho accounts inside. Fewer than 6 is too small for a day, more than 22 is two days (the benchmark's middle half: 6 to 22 stops).
  • Colour by record owner, then take the 7 or 8 that sit closest together. Where your Zoho book is owned by territory, the owner colours already show the territory plan; the drive time area settles the edges. 7.8 is the benchmark median day, and for 40 reps it is 312 stops a day in one plan, not 40 spreadsheets.
  • Hold one spare per area. More than 1 in 3 planned stops ends with the rep departing from the plan (team median 37.2 percent).

If one stop is 70 minutes from the rest, the territory is wrong, not the rep. Run it on your Zoho accounts.

Zoho CRM map view plus routes: four steps in Lead Mapper

  1. Connect Zoho. Sign in through OAuth; we set up the connection on your Zoho data center. Leads, Contacts and Accounts arrive on the map within 30 minutes. Invite your reps by email.
  2. Filter and colour. Filter by owner and the Zoho fields we bring in with you, and colour the pins by owner or a field of your choice.
  3. Draw territories. Draw by hand or generate drive time areas from 1 to 60 minutes, and assign each to a rep.
  4. Route to the phone. Each rep gets the stops in the best order with an arrival time per stop and a lateness flag on any stop with a set visit time. We set up team runs up to 6,000 stops. Drive mode navigates stop by stop in Google Maps or Apple Maps. Export to PDF, image, KML, JSON, CSV, GPX or a calendar file.

Where this comes from

Zoho's behaviour is quoted from its CRM help article "Map View" (shown as updated 5 months ago), read in full on 9 October 2026. Zoho sets RouteIQ's plans and limits; the comparison table lists tools that publish theirs. Competitor data paths, stop limits and prices are from each vendor's own pricing or product page, read on 9 October 2026. Team costs are our multiplication of published per user prices. Route and drive figures: Lead Mapper Field Sales Benchmark 2026, 3,508 planned routes, October 2025 to September 2026; route length is the 25th to 75th percentile band and the team median; weekly hours are a model of one planned route per rep per working day.
