Best field sales app: the short answer
The best field sales app is the one your reps rate highest on their own phones, and on 10 October 2026 Google Play ratings ran from 2.2 for SPOTIO (278 ratings) through 3.1 for the original SalesRabbit app (689) to 4.0 for Badger Maps (403) and 4.7 for SalesRabbit+ (96). LeadSquared's field sales app guide, updated 17 June 2026 and ranking for this search, prints SPOTIO at 3.8 on Play in its text and 3.4 in its own overview table.
The second split is the dead zone. Badger's own help page says that offline "you won't be able to save new notes". SPOTIO keeps a downloaded day "for up to 24 hours". SalesRabbit asks reps to "allow 1-5 minutes" to sync after reconnecting. The third split is the bill: at 40 reps the published list prices run from $27,840 a year for Badger Maps Business, billed annually, to $95,520 for Map My Customers Field Intelligence (our math: list price times 40 reps times 12 months).
With Lead Mapper every rep tests the iPhone or Android app on their own phone for 7 days before you sign, with your CRM accounts on the map within 30 minutes. On day 6 we ask every trial rep for one number from 1 to 5. $27 per user per month, month to month, no seat minimum: $12,960 a year for 40 reps. Start free trial, no sales call.
What a field sales app has to do in the car
A field sales app lives on the rep's phone; the manager reads the result in a browser. Our field sales benchmark covers 3,508 routes planned in Lead Mapper. Across the 38 teams with at least 3 routes, the median team plans 7.8 stops, 57.9 miles and 114 minutes of driving per route. That is the route the app has to carry.
Three jobs happen on the phone along that route:
- The route of the day. Re-ordered when the third stop cancels, or the rep opens Google Maps and the plan is gone.
- The note after the visit. Written in the parking lot. If it is not in the CRM by evening, the manager reads yesterday's account.
- The dead zone. A rural county, a basement warehouse. If the app drops the note there, the rep stops writing notes.
Best field sales app ratings: what reps give on Android and iPhone
The manager reads G2; the rep rates the app in the store. Our field sales software reviews page shows how far apart the two land. Here are the store ratings alone, read on one day.
| App | Google Play | Play ratings | App Store (US) | App Store ratings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SPOTIO | 2.2 | 278 | 3.39 | 325 |
| SalesRabbit (original app) | 3.1 | 689 | 4.53 | 1,169 |
| SalesRabbit+ | 4.7 | 96 | 4.91 | 342 |
| Map My Customers | 3.8 | 148 | 4.16 | 468 |
| Badger Maps | 4.0 | 403 | 4.47 | 1,106 |
| RepMove | 5.0 | 26 | 4.83 | 65 |
| Leadbeam | 4.6 | count not shown | 4.73 | 15 |
All read 10 October 2026. Google Play weights recent ratings, so its number is the current verdict; the App Store figure is the average Apple's lookup service reports for the US store.
LeadSquared's store ratings, updated 17 June 2026, against the stores on 10 October
LeadSquared's guide, updated 17 June 2026, prints SPOTIO twice: 3.8 on Play and 4.2 on the App Store in the text, 3.4 and 3.9 in its own overview table. Badger Maps stands at 4.5 and 4.7, SalesRabbit at 3.8 and 4.2. On 10 October 2026 the stores showed 2.2 and 3.39 for SPOTIO, 4.0 and 4.47 for Badger, 3.1 and 4.53 for the original SalesRabbit app. A manager who shortlists from that page shortlists on a number neither store shows today: SPOTIO sits 1.6 stars lower on Play than the guide's text (our subtraction, 3.8 minus 2.2).
One vendor, two apps, two verdicts
SalesRabbit runs two Android apps: the original app at 3.1 from 689 ratings and 100K+ downloads, and SalesRabbit+ at 4.7 from 96 ratings and 1K+ downloads. On iPhone the pair reads 4.53 and 4.91. Write the app name into the pilot plan: "SalesRabbit" means either 689 ratings at 3.1 or 96 at 4.7.
SPOTIO names its app "SPOTIO | #1 Field Sales App"; its Play rating is the lowest in the table. What its reps write is on our SPOTIO reviews page.
Field sales apps offline: what each one keeps when the signal drops
None of the three ranking guides we read for this search documents offline per app. SPOTIO's roundup names "Offline capability" as a selection criterion and then documents it for no app. LeadSquared lists offline access for its own app and offline map downloads as a paid extra for Salesforce Maps; for the other eight apps it says nothing about offline. The vendors' own help pages are specific:
| App | Offline, in the vendor's words | Where it breaks for a rep |
|---|---|---|
| Badger Maps (Standard) | "When you're offline, you won't be able to save new notes, edit records, etc. However, you can still continue navigating your current route" | The note waits for signal. Applies to Badger Maps Standard. |
| SPOTIO | "offline functionality through Download My Day for up to 24 hours" | Download "Before heading out"; with low or no signal it "will be unable to geocode the full address". |
| SalesRabbit | "You will be able to create and edit leads while on offline mode" | "allow 1-5 minutes for the data to sync"; deleting the app before sync means "you would lose your lead data". DataGrid needs a connection. |
| Map My Customers | "Offline Mode: Full functionality without cell service; syncs when back online." | Features page only; no limits published there. |
| RepMove | "Create notes and track visits in areas with limited or no internet service." | Features page only; no limits published there. |
| Leadbeam | "iOS + Android, offline-ready." | Page description only; no help article found. |
| Lead Mapper | We build the offline behavior your reps need, starting with the dead zones on your routes. | Send us the zones before the trial and we set it up for your team. |
Test it where your reps lose signal, not in the office.

Teams do not grow into a list price. They grow through thresholds: a seat minimum, a plan that starts at 11 users, a tier that starts at 35. Lead Mapper has one threshold: one user, $27, month to month.
| App and plan | List price per user per month | Billing | Seat rule | 20 reps a year | 40 reps a year | 100 reps a year |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lead Mapper | $27 | month to month | no minimum | $6,480 | $12,960 | $32,400 |
| Badger Maps Business | $58 | billed annually ($69 month to month) | no minimum named | $13,920 | $27,840 | $69,600 |
| Leadbeam Starter | $59 | billed annually ($89 monthly) | no minimum named | $14,160 | $28,320 | $70,800 |
| SalesRabbit Team | $59 | month to month | no minimum named | $14,160 | $28,320 | $70,800 |
| RepMove Accelerate | $80 | billed annually | "For 11+ users" | $19,200 | $38,400 | $96,000 |
| Map My Customers Industry Leader | $99 | paid annually | minimum 5 users | $23,760 | $47,520 | $118,800 |
| Map My Customers Field Intelligence | $199 | paid annually | minimum 35 users | $83,580 (35-user minimum) | $95,520 | $238,800 |
| SPOTIO | not published | quoted | "teams of 5 or more" | quote | quote | quote |
Our math: list price times reps times 12. The Billing column says how each row is billed.
The eleventh rep at RepMove
RepMove Sales Pro is $54 per user per month billed annually, "For up to 10 users": $6,480 a year for 10 reps. Accelerate is $80, "For 11+ users". If the whole team moves up, as the label reads, the eleventh hire takes the bill to $10,560, which works out to $4,080 more a year for one rep. The same $6,480 buys 20 Lead Mapper seats for a year. More on RepMove pricing.
The 35-user door at Map My Customers
Map My Customers sets minimums per plan: "The minimum is 5 users for the Industry Leader plan, 10 users for Enterprise, and 35 users for Field Intelligence plans." Field Intelligence lists at $199 per user per month paid annually, so the smallest possible team on it costs 35 x $199 x 12 = $83,580 a year. The full spread across the market is in our field sales software pricing index; Mapline, a browser tool that prints no price at all, is on our Mapline pricing page.
The 40-rep checklist before you sign a field sales application
- Staff the pilot from your worst signal. Pick 5 of your 40 reps from the routes with the weakest coverage, at least half of them on Android.
- Read both store ratings yourself, with the date. Search the store, not a ranking page.
- Run the airplane test. Flight mode on, log a visit note, flight mode off. Open the CRM record in the browser after 5 minutes. SalesRabbit's own window is "1-5 minutes".
- Find the note you will read. Ask where the rep's note lands: in the CRM record you open every Monday, or only inside the app.
- Write your 12-month headcount next to the seat rules. 10 to 11 at RepMove, 35 at Map My Customers Field Intelligence, 5 at SPOTIO.
- Ask for the billing basis in writing. Badger is $58 billed annually and $69 month to month. Same seat, $5,280 a year apart at 40 reps (our math: $11 x 40 x 12).
- Let the reps vote. On day 6 ask each pilot rep one number from 1 to 5.

How Lead Mapper works on the rep's phone
Lead Mapper puts every CRM account on a map in the iPhone and Android app. HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Close and seven more CRMs connect directly. Name your CRM when you start the trial and we confirm the connection before your reps install the app.
| What the rep needs | Lead Mapper |
|---|---|
| Route of the day | The rep draws a lasso around accounts on the map; the route is optimized and filed by date in the app. |
| Drive mode | Stop by stop on the phone, each stop marked done or skipped, each one opening navigation in Google Maps. |
| Dead zones | Offline set up for your routes, as in the offline table above. |
| Visit note in the CRM | We set up check-in and visit notes that write back to your CRM for your team. |
| Photos at the stop | We build photo capture at the stop for your team. |
| Waze | We set up Waze handoff for your team. |
| Manager view | Admins plan and assign in the browser; each rep sees only their own territories. We build the visit dashboard your managers need. |
| Price | $27 per user per month, month to month, no seat minimum. AI plan $47. |

Questions, answered.
The one your reps rate highest on their own Android phones: in Lead Mapper's 7 day trial we ask every rep for that number on day 6. In the store on 10 October 2026, among apps with more than 100 Google Play ratings: Badger Maps 4.0 from 403, Map My Customers 3.8 from 148, the original SalesRabbit app 3.1 from 689, SPOTIO 2.2 from 278. Smaller counts: RepMove 5.0 from 26, SalesRabbit+ 4.7 from 96.
The one your reps rate highest on their own iPhones, and Lead Mapper's 7 day trial puts the app on them before you sign. On the US App Store on 10 October 2026: SalesRabbit+ 4.91 from 342 ratings, RepMove 4.83 from 65, Leadbeam 4.73 from 15, the original SalesRabbit app 4.53 from 1,169, Badger Maps 4.47 from 1,106, Map My Customers 4.16 from 468, SPOTIO 3.39 from 325.
It differs by app. Badger Maps Standard keeps navigating but cannot "save new notes" offline; SPOTIO works offline "for up to 24 hours" after a download; SalesRabbit needs "1-5 minutes" to sync. With Lead Mapper we build the offline behavior for the dead zones on your routes.
The CRM is the record the manager reads in the browser. The field sales app is what the rep uses in the car: the route of the day, the note after the visit, the map of accounts.
At list price, our math (price x 40 x 12): $12,960 a year for Lead Mapper (month to month), $27,840 for Badger Maps Business (billed annually), $47,520 for Map My Customers Industry Leader and $95,520 for its Field Intelligence plan. SPOTIO quotes only.
Lead Mapper has no seat minimum at $27 per user per month. SPOTIO is "designed for teams of 5 or more", Map My Customers starts at 5, 10 or 35 users depending on the plan, and RepMove Accelerate is "For 11+ users".
SPOTIO says "We don't offer a free trial". SalesRabbit says "We don't support a free trial of our paid plans". Lead Mapper gives every rep 7 days on their own phone with your CRM data, free and with no sales call.
